The Coalitions for Women in Trades and Technology (COWITT) are dedicated to increasing awareness of career opportunities for women in trade and technical occupations.

All Coalitions are driven by the same philosophy, but take different routes to achieve their goals. Most of the Coalitions offer annual conferences designed to give clear information and hands-on experience about careers in high-wage, high-skills occupations to girls, guidance counselors, and women in transition. These highly- successful, one-day workshops were launched by the Southern Maine Coalition in 1993.
