Donating

Women Unlimited has no discretionary funds other than those received through donations, which are targeted directly toward client needs. Women Unlimited has been able to use donations to:

  • Purchase gas cards for students to travel to and from class.
  • Provide safety equipment for working individuals in need.
  • Provide no-interest loans for tools to individuals who are starting new jobs obtained with the help of our JobBank. (Payback for these loans can come in the form of monetary donations and/or volunteer time.)

You can donate online through Just Give. Search for Women Unlimited, click on the "Donate Now" button and follow the prompts.

We can take your credit or debit card donation over the phone - call Jessica Childs. Women Unlimited also accepts donations of stock. Please call for more information.

Another easy way to give is through your bank or credit union: set up Women Unlimited as a payee through your electronic banking option. Simply put "DONATION" as the payee account number.

Volunteering

We appreciate our volunteers!

We usually need assistance at the following events:

  • Common Ground Country Fair
  • NAWIC Expo
  • Maine Tradeswomen's Conference
  • Heavy Equipment Days

If you'd rather help us at our home base, we'd love to have you here. We can always use help prepping for one of our classes!

Please give us a call any time you can spare an hour or two.
