Women Unlimited has been recruiting, training, and placing women in trade, technical, and transportation careers since 1988. We now offer services to minorities and displaced workers as well. We work carefully to make the best referral for every job.
The Flying Hammer, our bi-monthly newsletter, reaches over 1,100 workers and 150 agencies, and is the ideal place for your current listings. We can also post your openings on our website. There are no fees for these services, although a small donation to off-set our costs would be welcomed. Contact the Support Specialist at 800-281-5259 to become part of our JobBank.

Technical Assistance:

Our experienced staff can provide technical assistance in the following areas: EEO/AA, OSHA 10, Hand and Power Tool training, human resources policies and procedures, sexual harassment awareness training, and recruitment and retention strategies. Call us - if we can't help, we'll find someone who will.

On-The-Job Training (OJT):

Women Unlimited has contracted with the Federal Highway Administration (via the Maine Department of Transportation) to provide OJT monitoring services statewide. Please contact the OJT Administrative Coordinator Jen Lerette for more information.
