HOT JOBS AND CAREER INFORMATION |
We want you to have a career, not just a job!
Women Unlimited maintains a JobBank with up-to-date employment opportunities. Over 100 employers alert us to openings, and only JobBank members can access this service. To join, call us for an application to be mailed to you, or download the JobBank application, fill it in, print it out, and return to:
JOBBANK
103 WINTHROP ST
AUGUSTA, ME 04330
You can also fax the completed application to 623-7299.
Use our JobBank Update Form (or call us) with any changes to your name, address, or work situations so we can serve you better. |
We will contact you within a few weeks to schedule an interview. When you submit your application, please include a copy of your résumé if you have one. If you do not have a résumé and you want help creating one, or if you need to update the one you have, please mention that when scheduling your appointment. We'll be glad to help you! (You can also visit Maine's Career Center's site for more information on résumé writing and job searching.)
Be complete and honest when filling out your application so we can help you find a position that will suit you best - see our newsletters for tips on completing applications. Be aware that drug testing is required for most jobs, as well as for some of our trainings.
Your information is confidential - we will not release any information to anyone except what might be required to help you find you a job.
Membership is free and for as long as you like: just keep us up-to-date with your contact information. You'll receive our newsletters (published at least six times a year) and notices of upcoming training and events.
Join today - we're waiting to hear from you! |

Getting Ready for the Job:
|
|
"Two of your obligations in life:
learn from anyone willing to teach;
teach anyone willing to learn."
|
|
When one door closes another door opens; but we so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door, that we do not see the ones which open for us.
-Alexander Graham Bell |
